Larry Kenney Talks

Well, sort of.  He did an interview with a reporter from the Hartford Courant, and was asked about Imus. 

No new information on what went down and why he was suddenly off the show, but there was this:

Q: How is Don Imus doing?

A: We don't stay in touch except for a Christmas card and an invitation to his fundraiser at his ranch. As far as him losing his show, I think he got a bum rap and it was a terrible situation. I know that to this day he feels horrible about what happened. I was kind of winding down on the show then and was on vacation when it all happened, which was a good thing because I didn't get tied up in it.

Missing In Action

The one year anniversary of Imus' firing is quickly approaching.  Now that he's been back for nearly five months, we've been wondering where some of his most loyal regulars have been?  The following names come to mind:

Terry Bradshaw
Donald Trump
Tom Brokaw
Brian Williams

And of course, we're still waiting for some official word on what happened to Larry Kenney, a part of Imus in the Morning since 1973.

No doubt there will be a flood of articles and columns assessing Imus around the anniversary of his firing in April.  Perhaps some of the fine journalists writing about him will look to see why these people are missing in action?
