Imustruth.com One Year Later

One year ago today Imustruth.com launched as a place to set the record straight about the real Don Imus.  Much has happened since those dark days last spring.  Now Imus is back and better than ever.

Since our launch, over 17,000 comments have been posted by thousands of Imus fans.   Here's a sampling of the comments we received during our first week online:

"Just saying thanks for this site.  After the "what the hell just happened"  event, it feels like the Imus fans are finding there way back and we need a place to go!"

What Now?

217 days ago we created this site to get out the truth about Imus. 

Since April, IMUSTRUTH.COM has become the most popular gathering site online for anyone in search of the real Don Imus.

The past six months have felt like an eternity for many of you, but now there's light at the end of the tunnel. 

Imus returns in 16 days, possibly with a larger audience than ever before.

So that raises the question:  Will we still need an IMUSTRUTH.COM after the real Imus truth comes from our radios and televisions?

About This Site

We started IMUSTRUTH.COM out of frustration in the days after Imus was fired.  This site is NOT here to defend what he said-- the comments were repulsive.  However, just as outrageous, are the things now being send about Don Imus.

Many of the critics who have piled since Imus' firing have admittedly never listened to the show.   Worse yet, many of the journalists and authors who are now trying to distance themselves from Imus were fully aware of the show's humor, and at times, were more than willing to participate in it.

As an Imus fan, We've collected hundreds of hours of audio from his show over the past several years.   Until the events of last week, the old programs were just something fun to listen to on our iPod.  Now We've realized we have hours and hours of evidence of the extreme hypocrisy inside the media.   In the coming weeks, We'll be sharing some of what we have, so you can hear it for yourself.
